Mack is one of those rare small school players that has established himself as one of the top players in the draft. Much like Dontari Poe coming out of Memphis last season, Mack is known as a ‘workout warrior’ and will impress scouts at the combine. Mack is another freak athlete and will put up absurd numbers for a player his size (6′ 3″ 247 lbs). While he is more suited to play as an OLB in a 3-4 defensive system it is possible he can add some weight to his frame and play as a 4-3 DE for the Raiders. It is very possible the Raiders trade down a few picks and draft Mack somewhere later in the top 5. With the Raiders trying to beef up their D-line, Mack is a player that could fit those needs and he is sure to have a promising combine.
