Tyler Starr is a relatively unknown OLB prospect coming out of South Dakota but has recently made waves as a player to look out for at the combine. Listed at 6′ 5″ 250 lbs, Starr has prototypical size for an NFL linebacker and he impressed at the East-West Shrine game practices. It has been said that he will be able to break the record for the 3 cone drill, he is a very underrated prospect that will open eyes with his athleticism and versatility. The Raiders would be smart to target Starr because he would be versatile enough to compete for the middle linebacker spot, which is a position Oakland needs to sure up this offseason. There is not a lot of film for scouts to go off because of where he played college ball, which means the combine is very important for Starr to solidify himself as a legitimate NFL prospect. Look for Starr to explode onto the scene this weekend and vault up teams draft boards.
