#8 Minnesota Vikings: Johnny Manziel, QB TAMU
Rory’s Take: Rick Speilman has cited his lack of a successful quarterback as an issue for him and I am convinced they take a quarterback and likely trade up. In this case the best quarterback available is Bortles and that is the direction they go.
Chase’s Take: Minnesota needs a quarterback and at the #8 spot they are at the mercy of the teams that desperately need a QB in Houston, Jacksonville, Cleveland and Oakland. Here they get lucky and land Manziel, who still could end up in any of those four aforementioned places if they decide to invest in a QB and believe Manziel has the desire to be a starter in this league.
