#5. Matt Flynn
Age: 28
2013 Stats: 1392 yards, 8 TD’s, 5 INT’s, 62% completion
Career stats: 2475 yards, 17 TD’s, 10 INT’s, 61.9% completion
A good fit if…. You want a backup who can step in.
Matt Flynn’s terrible contract is a huge weight off the Oakland Raiders backs, but now that Seattle and Oakland’s error in valuing Flynn as a potential starter based on his spot appearances in Green Bay it has to be said that Flynn is one of the better options in a horrendous quarterback class. Flynn lost his job fair and square to a better Terrelle Pryor in Oakland, but he helped the Packers reach the playoffs after Aaron Rodgers got hurt and once again showed that if you need a guy who can come in with a chance to get a win off the bench he is a realistic option.
Rating 5.5
