A good fit if….: Raiders need some quality depth and competition at MLB…
Wesley Woodyard was a player on the rise and won the MLB spot for the Broncos out of training camp. But a stinger injury in week 5 derailed his season, and cost him his starting position. The Broncos appear to be moving on, despite Woodyard being a team captain and special teams ace in the past. Woodyard when healthy is another versatile linebacker, who can be a thumper in the run game, and adequate in coverage. Woodyard would provide a hard-hitting LB for the Raiders who could start in a pinch, and be a quality special teams player.
