Michael Oher might be the most famous Offensive lineman because of the hit movie about his life, The Blindside. What most people do not know is that he has struggled mightily after his first season in the league. Most analysts believe a switch to offensive guard might revitalize his career but as of now he is considered a Offensive Tackle.

Despite Oher’s struggles he is still very talented and a very good athlete for his size. If Veldheer walks there are not many starter quality replacements available. The most likely scenario I see if the Raiders choose to sign Oher is moving Melenik Watson to LT and having Oher play RT, which is where he played most in Baltimore. Oher would be a good sign if the Raiders are unable to sign any of the 3 previous players.
