Maybe none of these quarterbacks make it to the Raiders training camp.  Maybe it’s Teddy Bridgewater or A.J. McCarron or even drop down to Tajh Boyd.  There’s a big list of QB’s available in the draft, and nobody really knows what NFL teams will do until it happens.  The three quarterbacks discussed are just the three I think the Raiders are focusing in on.

Besides, if the Raiders do pursue Matt Schaub in free agency, he would be a great mentor to a quarterback like Bortles or Carr.  If it’s Michael Vick or Mark Sanchez, they would be very good mentors to Manziel.  Either way, there’d be a good chance that a rookie quarterback would start for the Raiders in 2014, and that quarterback would have a seasoned veteran backing him up (Schaub/Sanchez/Vick).  With the Cap Space available, it wouldn’t be unheard of for the Raiders to take on another teams baggage.  Although, McKenzie has shown that he is not willing to overpay for players.

So, Raider Nation, I ask you to make your own assessment of who you think should be the Raiders quarterback if one of these three are chosen.  Let me know your thoughts.  I’m sure I’ll get my fair share of Pryor and McGloin supporters, but try to keep it focused on draft prospects if you can.  I do appreciate your comments, and let me know what you think of the highlights as well.  Let’s go Raiders!
