#14. @ Buffalo (Week 16)

Quality of Opponent

Buffalo have exciting players and a legitimate shot to make the playoffs out of the AFC East as a Wild Card

Rivalry

Once again, other than wanting a W there is little animosity between these two geographically different teams.

Location, Location, Location

This game was actually difficult for me to put at #14 on the list of anticipated games because of the nature of it being a late season home game that could potentially have major implications on the future of the Raiders. In fact it is the season finale which is always an event, but the matchup with the Bills kills some of that buzz.

Chance of Victory (Extremely Early Prognosis)

A home finale in the Black Hole and likely Charles Woodson’s last game at the Coliseum will give the Raiders a good home advantage, but this game will be all about momentum and if the team still has gas in the tank come the end of December. Last year’s Raiders were simply too banged up to compete come this point, and a deeper team should be able to avoid running out of personnel and give the Black Hole something to cheer about in the season closer.
