With the NFL Draft all but just over one week away, JBB Podcast cohost Rory Anderson submits his final three round mock draft with all of his projected Raiders picks featuring (as always) comments from JBB editor Chase Ruttig. Here are his Round One thoughts for all 32 NFL teams.

#1 Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney, DE S. Carolina

Rory’s Take: The best Texans insider has been tooting the quarterback horn for a long time, but he recently produced a mock with Clowney going first overall. This simply makes the most sense.

Chase’s Take: We can talk about work ethic, we can talk about the Houston Texans need for a quarterback, but if the first name called at the 2014 NFL Draft isn’t Jadeveon Clowney’s they will have got it wrong. The best pass rusher in a generation of college football is simply just too good to pass on, even if an apparent bad attitude and consistent double/triple team blocking seemed to wear him down in his final season.
