#7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C.J. Mosley, ILB Bama
Rory’s Take: I have been seeing lots of chatter that the Bucs are interested in Mosley. I personally am not as high on him as a prospect, however he does flash the necessary speed and zone coverage skills along with the physicality needed to excel in a cover 2 base defense. Pairing him with Lavontae David would be an exciting tandem.
Chase’s Take: Mosley is a quality talent and has a college resume to back his status as a potential first rounder, but I don’t see it at #7. If the Bucs were too reach for a defensive player I would much prefer it to be Aaron Donald who impressed during the Senior Bowl and was vastly underrated thanks to playing for a terrible Pittsburgh program.
