6. WR- D.J. Coles (Virginia Tech) 6′ 3″ 225 lbs.

The Oakland Raiders were looking for WR’s in the 2014 NFL Draft, but they didn’t take any due to the right receiver not falling to their draft position (According to Reggie McKenzie).  The fact remains that the Raiders roster is filled with very good receivers and very good potential stars.  Still, McKenzie found this large receiver to bring in to compete in camp.

Coles is a very large receiver who looks the part.  He is very strong and has good instincts.  The problem is that he did not have very good production over his college career.  His biggest contributions came on Special Teams and Goal-line situations.  He will more than likely compete for a roster spot with Juron Criner.
