While there aren’t many chances for the next Rod Streater, I’m sure there will be more players coming into camp to compete.  What is nice, is seeing the caliber of players that McKenzie has drafted and brought in to compete.  I love the direction this team is headed, and the Raiders have a ton of depth combined with youth on the roster.

The critics that jumped to conclusions about the Raiders upcoming 2014 season seem to be back tracking a lot now, especially after the draft, and the path McKenzie has led the team down is now widening with the potential the team has.

Only time will tell if this is a playoff caliber team, but optimism has been given back to Raider Nation.  Rookies have been drafted that can contribute right away, and veterans are in place to keep the locker room intact.  Now it is up to the coaching staff to become better than they have been in the past.  It’s time for the Raiders to shine!  Go Raiders!
