UDFA’s

DJ Coles, WR VT

This dude is big. I mean big. Like 6’3 225 pounds big with 33.25 inch arm length. Want another massive target in Oakland? Here is your guy. Biggest knock: knee injuries. Some pros outside of his size: uses hands well to get off press, deceptive deep speed, great run blocker, and can play special teams.

Austin Flynn, DE Ark

For some reason Flynn and two other players were allowed to transfer last May and that was effectively the end of Flynn’s college football career. Until then at Arkansas he did not do much. He recorded ten tackles in 112 games at defensive end. He is tall and a bit undersized, but he was a solid high school prospect and has an amazing beard.

Mike Davis, WR Texas

This is quite possibly the best UDFA this year. I gave Davis a round four grade and he destroyed Cleveland’s first round draft pick Justin Gilbert. This game versus BYU was also very impressive.

George Atkinson III, RB ND

This is not a trick, George Atkinson is now an Oakland Raider. Yes the lineage of the famous Raiders safety George Atkinson has produced another high quality prospect, but this one is a running back. Atkinson is athletic, yet runs well behind his pads and can be very physical. He is versatile in his roles both running and catching the ball. This will be a fun one to watch.

Carlos Fields, LB Winston-Salem

The easiest thing I can do is turn you on to what Dane Brugler says about him. He called this match a while ago.

Jake Murphy, TE Utah

Think Mychael Rivera 2.0. Sorta.
