It was one of the best NFL Drafts for the Oakland Raiders since 2000.  The best defensive player came off the board at pick #5, and he is now an Oakland Raider.  LB-Khalil Mack was selected by Reggie McKenzie, and Raider Nation went crazy with enthusiasm.

This guy is tough, smart, young, and ready to become the focal point of the Raiders Defense.  Every defense needs a player to build their scheme or team around, and Khalil Mack offers this for the Raiders.  It is time to become the bully of the AFC West again, and the acquisition of Mack offers an early look into the type of tough guy the Raiders will deploy.

On draft day, it appeared that Khalil Mack didn’t seem happy about being selected by the Oakland Raiders, but you have to watch his entire walk onto the stage.  He was smiling, but he has been quoted as saying he was keeping himself grounded.  He realizes he has something to prove, and he knows it’s time to get to work.

Still think Khalil Mack was unhappy to be drafted by the Oakland Raiders?  If so, I have something for you to see.  Yes, Raider Nation, Khalil Mack is one of the newest members of the Silver and Black, and he took time to show Raider Nation what we will expect in 2014 from him.  Check out this link to www.raiders.com, because “It’s Silver-and-Mack Time:”
