Oakland Raiders first round draft pick Khalil Mack spent the weekend in Los Angeles, CA, for the NFLPA’s Rookie Premier.  Among all the glitter and photo opportunities, the normally reserved and quiet Mack opened up to a reporter.  The question: “Which quarterback are you looking forward to sacking most?”  Khalil Mack’s answer: “I think that has to be (Peyton) Manning.  Just thinking about it (excites me), you know what I mean.”  Mack continued to answer questions and made this statement about the quarterbacks he will face, “Just playing against greatness is a goal of mine.”

I for one am ready to see LB Khalil Mack get after all of our AFC foes, but I can’t wait to see Mack go against Peyton Manning in pass rush.  To have Mack put Manning on the ground will be exhilarating to say the least, much like seeing LB Sio Moore do it last year.  Oh, and to have these two players rushing in tandem along with the likes of DE Justin Tuck, DE LaMarr Woodley, DT Pat Sims, DT Justin Ellis, etc…, well you get the picture Raider Nation, exciting!

Underrated, passed over, shoved to the side, and lost in conversation, the Oakland Raiders are a team who will definitely blow their critics off the face of the earth.  The NFL Network won’t know what to do with themselves when they hear Rich Eisen say, “The Raiders have beaten the Broncos in a huge upset.”

That’s right NFL Network, underrate the Raiders, and continue to do so.  The egg will be on your face when our revamped and much improved defense stuffs the NFL’s supposed “Best Players.”  Oh boy, here I go again, stepping up on my soapbox and voicing my opinion about these pundit driven football networks.  Getting off the soapbox now.

This is about the Raiders “Mack Attack.”  This kid is yoked and he’s been running primarily with the first team defense.  The fact that he was underrated in college heading into the NFL has given him a chip on his shoulder.  He wants to prove his worth to the world.  He will do so wearing the famed and beloved Silver and Black uniform.  Hey Petyon, the Mack Attack is coming your way, hope your neck holds up!
