1) Latavius Murray Finishes the Season as Raiders #1 Running Back
Call me crazy, but my confidence in two aging oft-injured running backs is not exactly high.
What Maurice Jones-Drew and Darren McFadden need is a fountain of youth, and youth is the name of the game when it comes to running the ball in the NFL.
Enter Latavius Murray who has the potential, with sick size and athleticism. A perfect complement for what the “New” Raiders offense wants to do….Run the ball with power.
Murray coming off a foot injury that cost him all of last year, should be healthy and ready to sneak under the radar behind the two vets.
While I do not predict Murray to win the starting job out of camp, I do predict the injuries will continue to pile up for DMC and MJD, resulting in some big opportunities for Latavius Murray.
And a big opportunity for Murray to become the future at running back for the Oakland Raiders.
