FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall I think this offensive unit is 100% better than last years. I think the QB play is key and should improve under Schaub. I’m not worried about his confidence. All remarks from OTA”s and other media access to practices have been positive and light years ahead of where the QB play was at this time last year. So that’s really encouraging. I think the line has greatly improved as well. I envision Gabe Jackson and Steve Wisnewski holding down the LG/C positions for years, like Gene Upshaw & Dave Dalby before them. Running Back and Wide Receiver I expect to benefit from the improved QB play.

This offense will not be one dimensional any more. You will have to respect the passing of Schaub all while our O-Line is built to push you around in the running game. The Raiders offense was 24th in points/passing and 12th in Rushing last year. I expect this unit to be in the top half of the league in all Offensive categories in 2014.
