Miles that is. 36,106 miles the Raiders will travel over the course of the 2014 season, headlined by multiple games on the east coast and even London!

Let’s just say that the players should get used to the sight of good ol’ SFO, which I assume is where they fly out of because why would you want to fly out of Oakland. The Raiders fly more than 10,000 miles than the next highest team, the Seahawks, but it is not necessarily the amount of miles the Raiders will travel that is bad, as traveling to London and back is a whopping 11,000 trip in of itself,  it is where they will be playing.

For a team historically terrible at playing east coast games of late, they sure have a lot of them on the schedule.

Look, I am the first person to tell you that when it comes to present day football and winning games, the past does not matter. Those teams have zero resemblence to the team the Raiders are fielding this year and hopefully they can stop the east coast curse, but until that happens, the miles and locations of Raiders opponents should  not be something that is overlooked this year.
