If there was ever any doubt in the Dallas Cowboys minds about who the best team in California was or is, those doubts were laid to rest on Tuesday.  It’s Cowboys training camp at their Oxnard, CA, facility, but the Oakland Raiders rolled into town.  The team with the best fans, the biggest following in the world, and the only Nation, Raider Nation!

That’s right, Raider Nation stormed the facility in Oxnard and lined the sidelines to see their team, the Oakland Raiders.  Even better, the passion of the Raiders Fans spilled onto the field instilling excitement which fired up the players.  Then, #24, Morris Claiborne, of the Dallas Cowboys decided to get in a ruckus with some of the Raiders Fans and a whole lot of the Raiders players.  All out war was declared and one of two fights broke out among the Raiders and Cowboys.

Call it what you want, but we in the Raider Nation call that awesomeness!  See, when you’re a Raider, you never have to fight alone.  Somebody always has your back.  We are brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, grandparents, great grandparents, etc…, from all walks of life who celebrate our team with a passion like no other.  If you mess with us or our team, we will mess with you.

That’s exactly what happened at the scrimmage in Oxnard.  Claiborne was messing with our players and the fans stepped in.  Then, Claiborne started in on the Raider Nation and the players stepped in.  That’s how it works baby!

To see the Raiders showing the intensity that was lacking from the first Preseason game was a breath of fresh air.  To see the passion in the greatest fan-base in the entire world was absolutely awe-inspiring.  Day 2 of Raiders and Cowboys scrimmage promises to be just as intense and exciting.  Keep up the great work Raider Nation.  Go Raiders!
