LaMarr Woodley Disruptive

There is no question that LaMarr Woodley has his burst back as he has been disruptive all preseason. After having several near misses—some leading to sacks for others, he got a piece of Aaron Rodgers last Friday. The majority of his near misses were a result of opposing quarterbacks getting the ball out quickly because Raiders corners played way off.

With some better corner play in spots last Friday, Woodley’s efforts all preseason finally paid off. If the secondary consistently does their part, it will pay off for them because if they give the rush time, they can pressure the quarterback into some interception. And you know Justin Tuck is going to do his damage on the other side and inside while Antonio Smith also gets his from inside.

The former outside linebacker is still tough against the run too as he has shown so far this preseason. And as the secondary gets it together, the sacks will come as Woodley is healthy and back to his old self. Quarterbacks better be ware because Woodley looks like he’s the best pass rusher on the team right now.
