Bottom Line

Two things the Raiders know they have is a great running game and front seven that can get after the quarterback. Thorpe and Carrie can support that front seven with their bump-and-run coverage opposed to Brown playing 10 yards off. And if Maiava can cover, he could very well supplant Roach, give the Raiders the ability to stop the run and a physical presence in the middle.

Then you have Moore, who’s shown some versatility this preseason catching short passes and over the middle. He will have Carr throwing to him tonight so he should be able to put is big-play ability on full display as well. As a matter of fact, Moore could help Carr win the job and vice versa if they connect a few times for a dynamic performance tonight.

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.
