Excitement Coming

Matt Schaub looks done so it should be time for the Carr era to begin as he will at least make the Raiders exciting to watch. His arm talent with the big-play ability the Raiders have at receiver, running back and even fullback will make that happen. And this is without tight end David Ausberry, who should be ready for the opener and whose speed makes him a big-play threat to opposing defenses.

But to win games, the Raiders are going to have to be good on defense and if it’s up to just the front seven, that’s not a problem. But it is because opposing receivers are getting open so fast that the rush doesn’t have a chance to get there. When Chekwa gets back, they’ll be ale to hold it down and when Hayden gets back, it’s on and crackin’ for the Raiders defense.

This could be the year.
