Champ Bailey
Champ Bailey is one of the best to ever do it but he has been cut by two teams in this calendar year. Well, neither the Denver Broncos nor the New Orleans Saints are in as bad a shape as the Raiders are at corner. Corner is actually one of the positions the Raiders are really young at so his experience would help.
Plus I’m pretty sure that whatever he lost, he still better than any healthy corner the Raiders have right now and 2013 1st-round pick D.J. Hayden can learn from him. You know free safety Charles Woodson is lobbying for this as it gives him a player he can relate too and help teach the youngsters. Bailey is also very fond of head coach Dennis Allen from his days with the Denver Broncos as their defensive coordinator.
Speaking of that, Bailey gets a chance to play his ole Denver Broncos twice a year after they cut him earlier this year. If he still has it, those would be two interesting games and the Raiders would actually be in the playoff race too. But at the very least, he has to have enough left to get the Raiders through to when they get Hayden and Chimdi Chekwa back.
T.J. Carrie should be sent to the practice squad to make room for.
