Secondary Cover Streater

Along with fellow receiver James Jones, I’ve been on Rod Streater for his inability to get separation from opposing corners. But Sunday, he will get separation as that’s what he got last year against the Jets below-average corners. Streater had seven catches for 130 yards including a 48-yard touchdown catch-and-run on a slant-route last year.

And that was against a healthy Jets secondary that that had 2013 1st-round pick Dee Millner in it to cover receivers. Not that Millner is Darrelle Revis but the Jets are cutting and adding players as we speak to try to find some corners. Millner is unlikely to play in the game due to a high ankle sprain and if he does play, Streater will separate from him and let’s not forget Denarius Moore is lurking.
