All Right There For Carr
Ryan likes to blitz the you-know-what out of opposing teams and that requires you to have single coverage on the outside. He no longer has corners Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie to jam opposing receivers at the line too. So Ryan’s defense will be there for the taking for Carr as Matt McGloin had some success as a rookie against them.
McGloin was 18-31 for 245 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception, totaling a quarterback rating of 91. Carr, as a rookie, is much better than McGloin so I don’t believe he will have major problems with Ryan’s blitzing defense. He’ll also have a now healthy David Ausberry and a focused Moore while Millner isn’t so healthy.
