Remember Darren McFadden?

Yeah, he’s the guy that got the Raiders to .500 for two straight years darn-near by himself as former head coach Hue Jackson got him going. Sure, he’s had his problems with injuries but he’s healthy now so the Raiders have to use him now! Olson even admitted that Jones-Drew isn’t very fast these days then watched him average 1.7 yards per carry last Sunday.

McFadden averaged 3.8 and his burst was the difference against a fast Jets defense as Jones-Drew couldn’t get through the fast closing holes. Then when trying to turn the corner, McFadden got there for decent gains while Jones-Drew was stopped for a losses. One step is a big difference in the NFL as McFadden’s two-step advantage over Jones-Drew helped him perform better against the Jets.

I love “Pocket Hercules” but he doesn’t look the same.
