Bottom Line

The defense is going to put a ton of pressure on Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick because he isn’t mobile like Geno Smith. I’m praying that Nick Roach will be at middle linebacker but if he isn’t, Kaluka Maiava needs to be in there over Miles Burris. The Raiders gave up 212 on the ground with Burris last week and it will be worse against Texans running back Arian Foster if Burris starts.

The secondary is sure to be better with corner Chimdi Chekwa coming back from injury as Carlos Rogers and T.J. Carrie have struggled. He’s listed as the No. 3 corner right now but four catches in a row given up should have him replacing Rogers. The coaching staff shouldn’t wait until he gives up nine in a row to make him the slot corner he was brought in to be.

An improved defense and the Raiders having the proper offensive game plan puts Carr in position to win.

That’s Carr in pole position!

Just win baby!
