Worst in the NFL

I don’t know who’s idea it was but the head coach is over everything so it’s on Allen for Burris starting at middle linebacker. As a rookie in 2012, Burris wasn’t even a good outside linebacker but started because there was no one else. He posted big tackling numbers that year but he was the NFL’s leader in missed tackles and had the worst burn percentage for linebackers.

If that doesn’t make you the worst linebacker in the NFL, what does?

Sio Moore was then drafted in 2013 and Burris was hurt so Moore took his spot and played well as a rookie last year. Then oddly, Moore goes to training camp this year to find out that Burris had passed him on the depth chart somehow. Moore then killed it this preseason while Burris proved that he still wasn’t a good tackler, getting ran over on the goal line by Green Bay Packers running back James Starks.

He also proved he still can’t cover as everyone he covered caught the ball on him almost every time it was thrown his way. Meanwhile, Kaluka Maiava had a good preseason as the backup middle linebacker and his strength is the inside run. So Allen’s move to jump Burris over Maiava the first two games confirms why Allen was voted the NFL’s worst coach by NFL.com and ESPN.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady can’t overcome having the worst middle linebacker and worst head coach in the NFL.
