Don’t Give up on Moore

James Jones has done a nice job as a possession receiver for the Raiders but they Raiders need more explosive plays. That’s what Moore does best so the Raiders need to start using Moore in that way because if Streater does play he’s not a speed guy. Moore’s 38. 5 percent completion percentage is the third worst in the NFL but Moore isn’t to blame for that .

Quarterback Derek Carr hasn’t thrown many bad balls but it seems like the ones he does throw are usually intended for Moore. Moore did drop a pass in Week 2 but Streater did too and if you put those together with two had had in Week 1, that’s three. This isn’t a Streater-Moore comparison, I’m just saying that the Raiders shouldn’t give up on Moore just like they won’t give up on Streater.

Speaking of Streater, he’s missing practice these days with a hip-flexor so that makes Moore all the more important this week. The Patriots will have eight in the box to try to stop the running game and a deep threat is how you deal with that. Plus All-World corner Darrelle Revis will likely cover Jones so Moore would be the guy you want to throw to in that situation
