Make or Break

Denarius Moore’s drop that lost the Raiders the game was the big negative in the game so let’s get that one out of the way. After showing Raider Nation how exceptional he can be in 2011, he was inconsistent from 2012-2013, and made his way to Allen’s dog house. Then he worked his way back into the starting lineup yesterday after starting the preseason on the roster bubble.

It is now make-or-break time for Moore as yesterday could be what drives him to become the exceptional receiver he can be. Or it could send him into the kind of funk that if he can’t get out, he’ll be out of the league in a year or two. He has shown he has the ability to make any kind of catch but to consistently catch a football, focus us what you need the most.

Moore is going to have to work like he’s never worked and focus like he’s never focused before if he’s going to make it work. And even then, Allen’s job is on the line so it’s not going to be easy to regain his trust after making a play like that. I had high hopes for Moore this year but it’s up to him as I can’t and don’t want to defend him anymore after yesterday.
