 Bottom Line

Raiders owner Mark Davis knows that he made a mistake with having a coach that experimented with a philosophy doesn’t fit his personnel. We can easily go back to when Allen brought the West Coast offense and zone blocking when the opposite is was was working. Sparano’s philosophy coincides with Al Davis’ philosophy and most of the personnel that was there matched it.

Then after trying one thing then another, back to back 4-12 seasons and an 0-4 start, the organization and personnel finally match. I can’t predict anything big right now but I truly believe the Raiders will be respectable from here on out. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sparano took this job, ran with it, and kept it for a few good years.

Now we get to see if it’s coaches or players because we have a hard-nosed coach now.

He also fits the old Raider brand!

Just win baby!
