Defense Will Have Moore

Mack is gaining ground every week  but fellow outside linebacker Sio Moore is the best pass rusher the Raiders have. He has put mad heat on the quarterback in Week one with a sack a two forced fumbles on Jets quarterback Geno Smith. Then he got hurt in Week 2 vs the Houston Texans and hasn’t played since but you noticed him before the injury to his ankle.

Despite only play in a game and some change this season, Moore is fifth on the team in tackles with 19 and tied for the team lead in sacks with one. And when the Raiders need him  to cover a tight end or running back, that’s a skill he has that they can rely on him for. With the Raiders going to a 3-4 base, I believe looking forward to seeing Moore back at his outside linebacker spot as LaMarr Woodley isn’t making any noise.

As my Daddy used to say when talking about his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers, “He can’t even hit a loud foul ball right now.” For that, Woodley needs to become a nickel rusher on the oppposite side of Mack as the versatile Moore is in coverage in the nickel. With his all-around game, especially his pass rush ability, Moore will make the defense that much better.
