Bottom Line

From the beginning of his tenure as the Raiders interim head coach, Sparano has spoken of his change in philosophy. He also spoke of there being enough talent currently on the team for the Raiders to start turning things around. But the thing about that is some of that talent is on the bench and Sparano needs to go ahead and let a few guys play a lot more.

Then there are guys that are playing but they’re not in a role for the team that fits their skill-set as a football player. The Raiders do have the talent to start winning but they have starters that are the worst in the NFL at their given positions. So you might as well get a look at some other guys in some cases and in others, there’s a player on the bench that’s obviously better.

Not only can players help you more when they are put in roles that require them to do what they do best but it makes them more excited to come to work.

And Sparano needs to create as much excitement as possible.

Just win baby!
