Bottom Line

Running back Darren McFadden at 27 and center Stefen Wisniewski at 25 are good, still-young holdovers from the Davis days. Receiver Rod Streater, a 2012 undrafted free agent, almost had 1,000 yards receiving in 2013 and looks like he’ll be back November 13 after fracturing his foot. These guys and the rest of the players are put all around franchise quarterback Derek Carr.

And I don’t know how much longer he has but Charles Woodson is aging like fine wine and looks like he has two more years. So the Raiders are going to suck one more year to get Leonard Williams as their 1st-round of the 2015 draft and the pass rush will be on. Inside linebacker Denzell Perryman will be taken in the second round to join Michael Wilhoite, who will come across the Bay Bridge via free agency to complete the defense.

Okay, I’m getting ahead of myself but my point is that it looks like McKenzie’s plan could work out as he’s one draft away.

Was it the right plan or do you think it could have been shorter with the same bright future?

Just win baby!
