D.J. Hayden

I always thought that cornerback D.J. Hayden was going to be good and these last two games showed how good he can be. He could have had two interceptions instead of one last Sunday as he had the look of a future shut-down corner. Sure, he gave up a 31-yard touchdown catch to a great receiver to Emanuel Sanders but quickly learned and denied a great receiver in Demarius Thomas on the same rout later on.

Quarterback Peyton Manning was only 2-6 for 43 yards, one touchdown and one interception throwing at him in the game. In the last two games, opposing quarterbacks are 4-13 (30 percent) for 68 yards with one touchdown and and interception for a rating of 43.1. He should have four interceptions instead of the one he has so I can’t wait to see him make the plays he’s been missing as he knocks the rust off and pairs up with T.J. Carrie.
