Round 6: Stacy McGee

This was supposed to be defensive lineman Stacy McGee’s year but he broke his hand right before training camp. He was penciled in as the starter before the injury but he’s now trying to work his way back since getting his cast removed. The injury here is too bad because McGee really came along last year and did damage, leading to being the starter going into camp.

Since the Raiders are 0-10, McGee should at least be given some reps if not the starter over Antonio Smith. Smith had a sack Sunday but has been on the back of a milk carton every since the season had started until then. Smith likely won’t be back next year so we might as well get a look at McGee as he is healed from his hand injury.
