Bottom Line

The players love Sparano and they are fighting tooth and nail for him no matter how bad things have gotten. You don’t just beat what looks like a playoff team if you’ve already mailed it in and given up on this season. For the players to still be playing as hard as they are says  a whole lot about the head coach.

When a team can’t run and stop the run, not only is it not a good team but it’s a soft team and only soft coaches have soft teams. With Sparano, the Raiders are changing that as they have slowly become one of the more physical team in the NFL. All you had to do was listen to that hitting that was going on down on the field and unlike before, the Raiders won most of those collisions.

Raiders fans including myself need to wake up from the pipe dream of Jon Gruden and the 49ers can’t be stupid enough to let Harbaugh go. I like the way Sparano is leading these men and he’s just one good offensive coordinator, free agency, period and draft away from having the Raiders turned around.

They could do much worse at head coach.

They already have.

Just win baby!
