WE WIN.

That message, posted on the Oakland Raiders twitter account as soon as the time expired, perfectly sums up the feelings of the team and Raiders fans across the world. The collective sigh of happiness and relief nearly blew the stormy rain clouds right out of Oakland Thursday night as the Raiders rallied to topple the Chiefs for their first win in a calendar year. The thought of victory was so sweet Sio Moore and Khalil Mack nearly forgot the game was still in session during their 25 minute celebration routine. Only our beloved Raiders.

What was most impressive was HOW Oakland managed the victory. They certainly weren’t without faults but big breaks in the run game, solid physical defense, and clutch offensive drives put Oakland over the top. The team played with amazing heart. The coaches schemed well, adjusted, and came up with big play calls. However, most importantly, the team executed.
