 Identity

Harbaugh is a hard-nosed, blue-collar guy that would take the Raiders right back to the element they were once known for. He has had a physical running game and defense that stops the run and gets after opposing teams’ quarterbacks with the 49ers. Harbaugh has even shown that he likes to strike deep in the passing game when there’s someone at his disposal to do so with.

The Raiders won Super Bowls in  ’76, ’80 and ’83 with that formula and that’s still the way to win Super Bowls in today’s game. The Baltimore Ravens that beat Harbaugh in the Super Bowl XLVII and Seattle Seahawks that won Super Bowl XLVIII that way. So Harbaugh would bring back what’s been truly lacking in the Raiders’ fabric for since their last SuperBowl win.

I’ve said many times before that the 49ers were going to NFC Championship games using the old Raiders formula.
