What He Can Bring With Him

If the Raiders close the season strong, their going to miss out on USC Trojans defensive lineman Leonard Williams. But having Harbaugh with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio could make it possible to pick up a free agent like Ndamukong Suh. As a matter of fact, Michael Wilhoite could come with Harbaugh to play inside linebacker while Fangio could attract Rolando McClain back to the Raiders.

That would no doubt bring the Raiders into the top 10 on defense while Harbaugh could bring once piece on the offense. The would be a big piece in guard Mike Iupati to play the opposite guard outstanding rookie Gabe Jackson is playing. That would allow Austin Howard, who’s struggling at guard but was a top free agent at tackle last year, to go back to his natural position.

Menelik Watson could then move to left tackle behind Donald Penn and learn.
