RAIDERS RUN THE BAY.

Oakland was firing on all cylinders in their Week 14 matchup against their cross-bay rivals. What turned out to be a major letdown for Niners’ fans (and bettors) became the highlight moment of the season for Raider Nation. Derek Carr played like the franchise QB many of his advocates have touted him as being. Mychal Rivera had a HUGE game, racking up an impressive 109 yards on seven receptions. And the defense (OHHH THE DEFENSE) dominated the formerly well-regarded San Francisco offensive line all day long – earning 16 pressures on 40 drop back and 5 sacks.

While it was amazingly refreshing to watch the team look so energetic and focused live, it was even more fun on the All-22 coaches film. Upon review, 4 things stood out as extra significant in the win over San Francisco (we’ll call them the 4 Ps): Picks, Protection, Pressure, and Play-calling. This week we’ll examine a set of plays that these 4 Ps and break down how Oakland earned Bay Area bragging rights.

On to the game film!
