Oakland did an amazing job at keeping Kaepernick’s eyes off the receivers downfield and instead on the masses of silver and black barreling down upon him. As seen on the interception plays, a collapsing pocket tends to push Kaepernick into making poor throws, but for this page it’s all about the sacks. The fun part about it was that it was not just a single player that was wreaking havoc in the 49ers backfield. Several players, from the d-line to the secondary, got in on the action and crushed Kaepernick over and over – sometimes using stunts, and sometimes just rushing straight up.
