In year three, Oakland Raiders G.M. Reggie McKenzie was under the heat lamp after he fired head coach Dennis Allen. With the loses were piling up, many wondered if it’s the coaches or the players that have been holding the team back. McKenzie’s first year was a wash because he had virtually nothing for picks and nothing to spend on free agents.

His 2014 draft class hit right away with four impact starters while the 2013 draft class was stalled and remained an enigma. And during free agency this offseason, the Raiders couldn’t attract top free agents while losing some decent players. So it was all up to the class of 2013 to determine how well McKenzie was doing and it looks like they have acquitted him.
