Bottom Line

Right when everyone started to look at McKenzie to put him on trial, the class of 2013 has emerged to acquit him. NFL franchises do well to get two starters in the draft and three is really good so they Raiders getting four in the 2013 is great. That’s what they got in 2014 so that makes it two great draft classes in a row to put anything about McKenzie getting fired to bed.

It looks like the Raiders are going to pick somewhere in the top five again this year so one more draft class like the last two should do it. So all McKenzie needs to do is pull the trigger on the right coach and that will get top free agents to want to play for the Raiders. Then the Raiders will be in the thick of the playoff hunt and Raider Nation will no longer put him under the heat lamp.
