Plus One

This past offseason, Harbaugh rejected a contract extension offer from the 49ers because he thought he deserved more money. Owner Jed York and G.M. Trent Baalke didn’t quite see it that way so they would stay firm on the offer they made. Negotiations then got contentious and it’s playing out over the season as Harbaugh no longer gets along with the rest of the organization.

So in a stupid move, the first thing the organization did was leak out that the players didn’t like Harbaugh to devalue him. Then right after, it was leaked out of the organization that they were going to trade him ala Al Davis with Jon Gruden. Harbaugh can veto any trade and he has one year left on his deal so the 49ers likely won’t get high value for him anyway.
