Oakland Raiders Who May Never Wear Silver and Black Again

Other Notables…..
Pat Sims/DT,NT- An inconsistent talent with no motor. Sims could have played his way into a big contract this year, instead regressed into a rotational player only.
David Ausberry/TE- A once promising developmental TE out of USC. Ausberry seem to have everything you want, size, speed and receiving ability. Too bad he couldn’t stay on the field. Bad luck may have him looking for a new team.
Antonio Smith/DT,DE- Yes, Antonio Smith is one of the worst run defenders in the league. But he still shows a quick get off and knack for finding the QB. I’d say keep him around as a situational pass rusher, but his $4.mil cap hit may have the Raiders looking elsewhere.
Nick Roach/MLB- I’m praying for Nick Roach who missed this season after failing to return from a concussion. The hope is that he is back as he signed through the 2016 season. Yet even with a healthy Nick Roach, the Raiders badly need an upgrade at ILB. Roach is set to earn over $3.7 mil in 2015.
Tony Bergstrom/G- Bergstrom was never a fit in Oakland after the Raiders scrapped their zone blocking scheme under Greg Knapp. Reggie’s first pick saw no time on field in 2014 and is at the bottom of the depth chart. Bergstrom nearly got cut last offseason, hard to see him back as a Raider.
