Not much new information or dis-information has come out recently in the Oakland Raiders search for their new Head Coach. I wrote a couple of weeks ago that the Raiders needed a “RockStar” head coach who can help revitalize the organization and be the face of the franchise. Well so much for that idea. Harbaugh was already wearing Michigan blue, Rex Ryan nor Josh McDaniels have not been linked to the Raiders in any reports (Rex Ryan will reportedly sign with the Buffalo Bills), and Todd Bowels told the Raiders “Thanks, but no thanks”. It is becoming obvious this year’s crop of head coaching candidates is fairly weak, and the Oakland Raiders despite their young talent are still last on many list for many top coaches.

Here is my list of remaining coaching candidates, with some recent updates, speculation and rumors. Enjoy.
