Khalil Mack

Khalil Mack is the main reason why the Raiders should switch to the 3-4 because he would take control of games by himself. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 1 4-3 outside linebacker because he’s good at what ever you ask him to do. His sack numbers were low because he only rushes the passer as an end on third down because the Raiders don’t blitz out of their 4-3.

But as a 3-4 outside linebacker, he would easily have double-digit sacks and take control of games with his disruptive play. And we can’t forget that Sio Moore, who can also put heat on the quarterback, would be on the other side of Mack. As I said before, all they need is a couple of decent inside linebackers and this defense will be a great unit.

It’s easy to project Mack to be elite for 2015 because he was elite this year as a rookie. I expect his numbers to reflect his status more next year as the Raiders potentially make a switch to the 3-4. Mack remains elite in the ratings here to make nightmares for opposing quarterbacks in the 2015 season.
