Cooper is certainly the most polished route runner in this draft class, and that trait will translate well to the NFL. Great route here, impressive acceleration to get by the initial cornerback, and then breaks a tackle as he is making the catch. 99 yards for the score.

Another example of Amari’s release off the line of scrimmage. The cornerback tried to jam him, but to no avail. Shifty footwork to beat the press, and then a sharp cut to get open just before the ball is delivered.

A similar play as the previous clip.

The next two clips are the same play. Cooper’s move was subtle, but he sells it to the inside and gets the safety to go the completely wrong direction.
