Full Back: Starter – Marcel Reece

Marcel Reece is a Raider. I think that’s really all I need to say about him. He’s the best player in the NFL at his position, so upgrading through free agency is out of the question. The highest ranked fullback coming into the draft is a 4th or 5th round player, so if Reggie wanted to add a little depth to the fullback position to give Reece an opportunity to line up as a 3rd down running back, it might be worth picking up a young player late in the draft like Jalston Fowler out of Alabama.

Fowler known for being a bruiser of a run blocker, and in the tradition of Reece caught 5 touchdown passes last season. The addition of another fullback could also give Reece an opportunity to line up in the slot, or as a second tight end on passing downs, making an obvious mismatch for any linebacker or nickel corner trying to cover him.

So, is there an upgrade available? No. Is there someone who could come in and compliment the position? I believe so.
